Wildcats have performed very well in the most recent games. They practiced a lot to defend the victory stand. Each player was feeling extra energy to give outstanding performance. The coach of the team was very confident as his boys committed all together to get victory. So, the spirit of victory gives you shining and you do well in the tasks. Same, thing people saw on the field; there were no signs of pressure or stress on the faces of players. That was a prominent difference between the Wildcats and Boxers.
Now two days ago, a truly anticipated match was played between the Linfield and Pacific University. This match once again proved the worth of the Wildcats who defeated the Boxers. Wildcats have been invincible for last five years and this marked their fourth undefeated season. Linfield owe their victory against Pacific to the Senior Josh Roder. The final scores were 28-22. It seemed like an easy win for Wildcats but Pacific put up their fair share of fight too.
Wildcats did 224 yards and they also scored every touchdown on the ground. Josh Hill also played an important part in the victory as the live score for him was fantastic. In the second half, the interception of a pass by Pacific by Forman made it a nail-biting match. This moment proved to be very lucky for Linfield as after that, they seemed to be easily going towards the win. Forman humbly gave the credit to the whole team. In the fourth, Yoder scored and Pacific also tried to make a comeback but Wildcats didn’t let them do that. The coach, Smith Joseph spoke very highly of the effort by Forman. According to him, it actually sparked the passion of winning in the whole team. The incredible performance of Josh Yoder was certainly the highlight of the game.
